The Sheikh Zayed Tower and Charlotte R. Bloomberg Children's Center
JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL
The new complex is a 1,600,000 SF, 12-story building housing two distinct programs in one facility, taking advantage of synergies between Adult and Pediatric services. The building consists of a Diagnostic and Treatment Podium, 2 Patient Towers and includes 2 bridges to an existing garage, one for the Adult and one for the Children’s Hospital. The new building is also connected to the Weinburg Building on multiple levels, sharing clinical services and interventional programs, as part of JHH’s Comprehensive Cancer Care Center. Additionally, there is a large Diagnostic Imaging component, ORs and a new Emergency Department that serves as a trauma center.
