School of Engineering Complex

The new 115,000 GSF, 5-story state-of-the-art engineering and science complex houses high-tech laboratory space for trans-disciplinary research, in which researchers from different fields work in teams and blend their expertise for innovative outcomes. In addition to offices and classrooms, the building includes space for bio-nano engineering, chemical engineering, cyber-physical systems engineering, as well as other areas of focused research. The new building is built to LEED “green,” standards to include environmentally friendly design, construction, and operation. Estimated construction cost: $40,000,000. Construction completion in 2016.
