Elliot Hospital, Master Facilities Plan

Consultation services for the development of a Master Facilities Plan for Elliot Hospital, a 296-bed acute care facility. In addition to an analysis of existing infrastructure, major facility deficiencies, and physical plant operating inefficiencies. The study also includes an evaluation with the corresponding remediation plan for the hospital Emergency Department, as well as a review of Elliot Health System's abilities to accommodate short term surges to inpatient bed demands. The purpose of this is to provide the hospital with the recommendation to continue inpatient operations at the current site of service or to build a new acute care hospital on or near the Elliot at River's Edge campus. Final documents will provide a review and synthesis of clinical priorities, projected square footage, and rough cost to build, as well as general design options for the construction of a new facility.
