105,000 SF academic research building that houses wet and dry laboratory and support functions which integrate the activities of several departments. Project involves shared core lab and instrumentation spaces intended for use in Proteomic studies including specialized facilities for X-ray crystallography, high-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), mass spectrometry, computing and cryo-electron microscopy. Project also includes the BioMaPS Institute and graduate program in computational biology and biophysics and a small conference center.
