Harvard Business School, Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center, Commissioning

The Chao Center replaced the existing 70,000 GSF Kresge Hall constructed in 1953 and serves as the unifying gateway and central hub for the four existing buildings (Baker, McArthur, McCollum, and Tata Hall) which comprise the HBS Executive Education precinct in the northeast corner of the Harvard Business School campus. The 87,000 GSF new construction project provides an arrival/departure location for EE participants, Atrium/Reception/Café multi-story central space, flat-floor classrooms, multi-purpose room, project rooms, coaching rooms, dining room/servery for 500 participants, and Exec Ed administrative offices.

BR+A provided commissioning services on all of the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, photovoltaic (PV) renewable energy system and integrated systems verification.
