MEP/FP engineering consultant for the 181 Mercer Street development project at New York University. The architectural team of Davis Brody Bond and Kieran Timberlake were selected to collaborate on the design of a 900,000 GSF mixed-use academic building in the heart of NYU's Greenwich Village campus. The new facility caters to the academic, athletic, residential and student life needs of the campus. Highlights include a variety of classrooms and learning/study space, a full-service athletic/recreational facility (including a swimming pool and regulation NCAA courts), a state-of-the-art theater, cafeteria, retail shops, dedicated student life space, as well as student and faculty housing.
