MIT.NANO WINS ACEC GRAND AWARD FOR ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE

We are extremely proud to announce that MIT.nano has received the American Council of Engineering Companies Grand Award for Engineering Excellence! This award was received by Cris Copley and Travis Wanat at the ACEC Gala in Washington, D.C. on May 7, 2019.

Under the Direction of MIT Senior Project Manager Travis Wanat; Wilson Architects Design Principal Samir SroujiTurner Construction Project Executive Peter Johnson; BR+A Principal-in-Charge Cris Copley; and BR+A Sustainable Design Leader Jacob Knowles; the project sought to create the highest performing and most energy efficient academic cleanroom in the country.

BR+A was the engineer and sustainability champion for MIT.nano. Through innovative applications of advanced engineering concepts, this high-performing building is the most energy efficient facility of its kind, on track to be the first LEED Platinum cleanroom facility.
