Cincinnati Children’s/UC Health Proton Therapy Center
As an extension of their outpatient cancer treatment program, CCHMC constructed a new proton facility on their Liberty Campus. The structure is a 90,000 SF, two-story building, containing a 250 MeV Super Conducting Cyclotron Particle Accelerator supporting two clinical gantries and one gantry dedicated to research. The design also includes space to accommodate one future gantry. The clinical program consists of support MRIs and CT units. Treating patients since 09.2016.
