CRISPR Therapeutics AG is a Switzerland-based gene-editing company that focuses on the development of transformative gene-based medicines for serious diseases. The project is a  full tenant fit-out of 263,000 GSF of office, conference area, and wet lab space at The 105 delivered in a turn-key fashion by Breakthrough Properties.  While the headquarters are in Zug, Switzerland, and additional business operations in San Francisco, California, it is the R&D operations in Cambridge that are relocating to The 105.  The design and function of their new space at The 105 should help maintain the objective of always looking for talented, experienced and passionate individuals to join its team.  The objectives of this program contemplate a 30% lab / 70% office ratio, with the ability to compartmentalize portions of the floor plan for simple, short-term sub-leasing, allowing for future growth.  Utilizing fan coil units to reduce the airflow requirements of the building, the project consists of open and private office, conference, and collaboration spaces.  Open laboratory spaces are provided with flexibility to transform into additional tissue culture suites as needed in the future.
