Ari joined BR+A in 2012 and is Managing Principal of the Washington, DC office. As a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University’s Architectural Engineering program and a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer, he has over and 15 million sf of healthcare, laboratory, and mission critical project experience. Ari serves as a board member of both the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and the National Capital Region Society of Healthcare Engineers, and is founding member of Penn State University’s Architectural Engineering Society Advisory Board. He actively holds memberships in many industry societies and has been well recognized, being a two-time recipient of the ASHRAE Healthcare Design Regional Award as well as the Consulting Specifying Engineer’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2009. Out of the office, Ari enjoys coaching his two sons' athletic teams, taking family hikes in national parks, playing golf, and watching college football.
