Campus Building Conditions Study
Evaluation of existing major MEP infrastructure systems and equipment in 10 existing research buildings on the York Ave / New York Hospital campus. The effort was to evaluate the condition and the available system capacities for both short and long term use, as it relates to supporting planned research space upgrades and renovations, and to make recommendations for remedial work. Our scope of work also included updating existing one line diagrams, infrared testing on major electrical equipment components, testing of chilled water, and steam piping for thickness and condition.
Campus Cell and Developmental Biology Laboratory Renovation
3,000 SF phased renovation of the 4th floor cell and development biology laboratory located in the A building.
Building D7 Laboratory Chemical Collection and Storage Facility Renovations
Renovation of 5,000 SF renovations to the existing gas and chemical storage and dispensing facility. Upgrades include modification to ventilation and exhaust systems, as well as replacement of the CO2 fire suppression system with an Inergen based gas fire protection system.
