Commissioning of a new 100,000 SF major new research facility equipped with multiple animal holding and special procedure rooms. Animal holding room house mice in special one-of-a-kind mouse condos developed exclusively for this facility. Animal feeding and cage cleaning / process is operated through a comprehensive network of robotic delivery and retrieval system.
Through its many innovative features, such as the automated robotic cage wash area and the cage and rack ventilation systems, where each cage rack is connected to the building's supply air and exhaust system, allowing each cage to be fully ventilated. This project is state-of-the-art in every respect and the first of its kind. Additionally, this facility is already recognized by such institutions as Johns Hopkins, Harvard and Stanford Universities as a leader in Vivarium research.
